Satguru was taking a bath in the Ganges. He saw some Brahmins offering Pinda and water to their deceased ancestors and relatives. |
| What Kabir did? |
Kabir started to pour the water on the river bank. This attracted the Brahmins and they enquired, but Kabir counter questioned what they were doing. they said they were offering to their manes |
| What Kabir said? |
I am watering the garden in my ashram. How funny..water from here cannot get to your garden. Then he said ..will your offering reach your ancestors? They then realised the futility of their actions. | |
